Privacy policy

Vestpocket is made by Cimento LLC. It is built so that we never receive your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Vestpocket has no account, no server, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking.
Where your data is
Your grants, orders, trading windows and settings are stored only on your device. Your device's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include them, as it does for any app's data; that backup is between you and Apple or Google.
Network access
To show stock prices, the app sends the ticker symbols of your public companies (for example "ACME") directly from your device to Yahoo Finance, or to Stooq if Yahoo is unavailable. Nothing else is sent: no amounts, no grant details, no identifiers. Those services' own privacy policies apply to those requests. You can turn price lookups off in Settings and enter prices yourself.
Purchases
The free trial starts on your device the first time you open the app; its start date is kept on your device. The one-time purchase goes through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google process the payment; we never receive your payment details, name or email. The app asks the store only whether your store account owns Vestpocket.
Calendar, notifications, Face ID
If you choose "Add to my calendar", the app writes events to a calendar named Vestpocket on your device. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Face ID / fingerprint unlock is handled by your device; the app never sees biometric data.
Files
Spreadsheets you import are read on your device. Exports are created on your device and go only where you send them.
This website
The website has no analytics, cookies or tracking. If you join the launch list, the email address and phone type you enter are sent to us through Web3Forms, a form service, and arrive in our inbox. We use them only to tell you when Vestpocket is out, and delete them when you reply "stop" or ask us to. Web3Forms' own privacy policy applies to that delivery. The app itself never asks for your email.
Children
Vestpocket is not directed to children.
